Wow, what a 2 weeks it has been. We have had over 10,000 votes across the awards showing us the support of our reader, and also demonstrating the riders and nominees commitment as they also campaigned for their votes across social media.

Best Female Kite Brand Ambassador
With 30% of the votes Greta has proved that she is deserving of her position as female ambassador for Switch and a very popular young rider.
Best Female Friendly Mainstream Brand
A close call but with 33% of your votes Naish gets the thanks they deserve for their awesome Alana series.
Best Female Competitor of 2014
There were only a handful of votes in it, but the winner is a very deserving Annelous Lammerts who fought super hard all year and deserved every podium and success she won.
Best Female Business Woman
With 37% of your votes our own editor Sofi Chevalier wins your seal of approval. Which means we can finally sit her down for an interview.
Best Endorsement Deal
With 50% of the vote Julia Castro shows what a hard working kiter needs to achieve off the water as well as on the water with recognition for landing the Opel endorsement deal.
Best Video
With 48% of the vote Rita Arnaus storms to victory with her recent Endless video which took everyone by surprise with her level of riding in Brazil this season.
Most Promising New Talent
This was the mostly hotly contested award which demonstrated both public opinion and the riders ability to rally their support. The well deserved winner is Therese Taabbel with 41% of the votes.
So what now? Well we will be speaking to each of the winners individually over the course of the next few weeks to find out their reaction, thoughts and future plans.
