I just spent two months on a winter getaway in the Philippines. I must say it’s the perfect place for training or a kite holiday during the European winter months.
The Island has pretty much anything you want. It doesn’t matter if you are a freestyle training addict, waverider at heart og partyqueen. Philippines deliver. There is no need to argue with their slogan; ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines’.
I’ve been there, it was true. The huge smile on almost all locals and visitors speak for itself. Even though I can also tell you that I had the most fun I have had in quite some time. And I have a pretty fun life ;)
Kiting in empty flat water on deserted small islands, enjoying the busy and festive Boracay…
… wakeboarding with the pros at world famous cableparks are only some of the options on the menu.
Even after 2 months with a busy traveling schedule every day, I still felt like I’ve only got to taste a few of the island’s specialties.
